For quadratic objectives,\nunlike interior point solvers based on the standard homogeneous\nself-dual embedding (HSDE) model, Clarabel handles quadratic\nobjective without requiring any epigraphical reformulation of\nits objective function. It can therefore be significantly\nfaster than other HSDE-based solvers for problems with\nquadratic objective functions. Infeasible problems are detected\nusing using a homogeneous embedding technique.",

    "message": "Fix macOS deployment target mismatch by detecting R actual target\n\nThe Rust cc crate defaults to the SDK version (xcrun --show-sdk-version)\nwhen MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET is unset, which can exceed the deployment\ntarget used by R compiler and linked libraries (e.g., libgfortran),\ncausing an ld warning. Instead of re-exporting an env var that may not\nexist, configure now compiles a test object with R compiler and reads\nthe minos value via otool to determine the correct deployment target.\n\nCo-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>\n",
